As part of the Barnsley Food Network the Barnsley Food Directory is designed to enable people to identify:
1. Local food producers and businesses
2. Retailers selling locally grown and produced food
3. Restaurants, cafes and hotels serving locally grown and produced food
4. Local food projects/initiatives
5. Useful contacts
Requests are often made about what local food projects there are, where to buy locally produced food and also contact information. It is hoped that by producing a directory, which will be continually updated, will help in the process.
All entries to this directory are based on information sent from the projects themselves and every effort has been made to ensure this information is accurate at the time of publication. However, no responsibility can be held for errors or omissions.
